Apple will soon adopt a dual core processor for next version of iPhone. With the new graphic applications and games skyrocketing into the smartphones along with high resolution display, dual core processors are almost mandatory in this high end technology related smartphones.
When Apple launches the iPad 2, it may have the updated A4 system-on-a-chip(dubbed A5). Later this processors will be adopted on to the iPhone 5 and the fifth generation iPod touch. Apple’s processors in every one of its iOS devices are made by Samsung.
In speculation, iPad 2 will be the first iOS devices to support A5 dual core CPU. If history beckons, Apple TV will also have the dual core processor.
