Apple for the first time have overtaken Nokia in terms of numbers to become the number one smartphone vendor in Australia. Now Apple iPhone has gained 6 percent more of smartphone market share when compared with Nokia at 30.5 percent to lead the race. The report just came from an analyst firm IDC’s Q3 Mobile Device Tracker, which was released today.
On the other side Android is growing much faster than Apple with 21 percent increase from Q1 to Q2. So someday in the next year there will be a tough battle between iOS and Android in terms of smartphone market share.
