Apple has released iOS 4.1 for developers rel=“nofollow> today. The iOS 4.1 looks to have included FaceTime, Game Central parental control, new modem firmware, new signal bar and much more to list out. But the antenna issue remains to be there still even after this update.
Besides all these updates we found some news from Razorianfly reporting Apple might have included a watermark for jailbroken devices. In a tweet from their user claims “Also, iOS 4.1 has new encryption technology, that will constantly check if iPhone or iPod touch, have been jailbroken. This is done by digital watermark that appears when iOS is jailbroken, and this watermark cannot be removed, even if reverted to unjailbroken status. Apple store employees will check for the watermark during iPhone service“
Kento (@alchemistmuffin) the same guy who reported about watermark encryption technology has also mentioned in his tweet “By the way, the watermark thing, can be bypassed, the encryption on the watermark thing is so weak, so jailbreak, it’s still possible“
