Google’s new app, Translate was released yesterday. This app is expected to serve as a great tool for writers, translators and interpreters.
With this new app, you can speak a word or phrase in a language and get it translated into another. In a blog post rel=“nofollow> Wenzhang Zhu, a software engineer in Google said, “The new app accepts voice input for 15 languages, and – just like the web app – you can translate a word or phrase into one of more than 50 languages”.
Google has been busy releasing new apps for the past few months. It was Google Voice in November, Google Latitude in December, Google Places in January and for this month it is Translate. Like all other consumer products from Google, Translate is available for free.
