Apple has clarified the differences between using the iPhone with GSM and CDMA networks with a support document rel=“nofollow>.
For last few days there has been a war going on between AT&T and Verizon to attract iPhone users. Through interviews and ads both companies have been trying to highlight the advantages of using iPhone with their network. Apple has intervened now with a clarification. In a support document, Apple explains the differences between GSM and CDMA version of iPhones. As you know AT&T uses GSM technology and Verizon has CDMA. Now look at the difference.
In this document Apple says, “iPhone supports many phone features, including call waiting, call forwarding, and conference calls. Depending on your wireless carrier’s network technology (GSM or CDMA), there are different methods for enabling and using these features”. But experts say this war between AT&T and Verizon will not end any time soon.
