I found an awesome app on the App Store and thought I’ll share my experience with you. The app is called Flipping Dice and it has been introduced by Gary Stout. The app offers a new take on match 3 games. When I first looked at the game, it seemed easy, but I later realized that it was a lot more challenging than I thought. However, there are a few tricks to playing the game which I’ll let you in on later. 😉
All you need to do is tap to flip an individual die you see on the screen, or tap between two dice to flip them both together. Once the dice fall on the screen, you’ve got 77 seconds to finish the game! Try to match 3 dice in a row to score, or even try 4, 5, or 6 in a row to get bigger numbers on your scoreboard.
Some hints to playing the game are to flip two dice at once to score 6 in a row. Double flips get you double points. You can plan your strategy before you start playing. The dice on the screen are similar to real dice. The way you swipe your finger across the screen, determines the turn of the dice! 😉 If you master this trick, the numbers will already be known to you even before you turn the dice. Cool trick, isn’t it? Some fast thinking and fast reflexes are all what you require. Making quick moves will help you earn more points.
You can track your progress on Game Center, and even compete with other players on the Leaderboard. You could also use Game Center Support to record your achievements when you flip 6 dices in a row.
If you are looking for some mind-bending games to play on your own or with your friends, Flipping Dice is one you would want to try.
